From April outdoor weddings and civil partnerships will be legalised permanently in England and Wales.
Introduced as a temporary measure last summer due to the covid pandemic, couples have been able to get married outside, regardless of whether a permanent structure outside was licensed or not. Meaning that as long as the venue was licensed, the ceremony could take place anywhere within the grounds of that said venue.
Now introduced as a permanent measure, this means that more of our couples can get to enjoy the great romantic outdoors and say ‘I DO’ within our enchanting walled garden. The pergola covered by a beautiful grapevine becomes the alter, your congregation on either side of the lawns, with the backdrop of the pond and the stunning rose walk as your aisle, this really does create the most magical experience.
